Some thoughts over a cup of coffee

Finally we got some sun and temperatures climbing even above zero degrees: ) so I decided to visit an exhibition opening with my friend, which seemed to be a great chance to have a chat over a cup of coffee afterwards. ( For a similar occasion you can get inspired by my velvet trousers, which you can combine almost with anything and they are more formal alternative to a pair of jeans..) But back to my day out…we had a nice chat with my friend…again we opened our favourite subjects which are usually our grown up children and all that. Besides, my friend has just celebrated infamously round birthday, so it was even more reason to sort out all our thoughts. When she passed the panick stage, she started to have more philosofical thoughts: “Inside me, I don’t feel my age at all! If somebody woke me up now and told me, that all the years I was only dreaming, and actually I am 35 now, I would believe him!“ My friend said that as it was almost some kind of injustice, and so I thought about that idea- which I also by the way agree with. Should we take the fact that inside we feel so much younger as a positive thing, or should we think of it as some kind of disbalance, to which we should more adjust? Isn’t our mental rebellion just ridiculous? Shouldn’t we start to feel and act more according to our age, like our grandmothers used to do, and consequently, in a sort of ironic way, live in better harmony with our age? Even while writing this sentence, however, I feel everything resists inside me. I hope, I think finally, they find us rebelling still in very very old age…I think to myself and I am on my way to read  about two hundred and fifty pages from the British history, from which I take an exam next week- just to practice so my brains last longer, I hope!:))
